ADC will host a series of structured cabling symposiums across Canada and the U.S. this spring in which technology experts will discuss 10-Gigabit Ethernet copper and fiber based protocols.

The half-day sessions will also examine other emerging technology topics such as data centre design and Power over Ethernet.

“10-Gigabit Ethernet compliance is one of the many challenges facing the cabling industry today,” said Bob Kenny, vice president of global enterprise product management for ADC.

“The symposiums are important venues for bringing together industry leaders to discuss trends and networking strategies for ensuring that structured cabling systems are future-proofed for emerging technologies. In a real sense, cabling is leading electronics as 10 Gig works its way from the backbone and data centers to the desktop.”

Canadian dates and locations are as follows: Calgary (April 4), Toronto (April 5) and Montreal (April 7)

Attendees will also earn three BICSI continuing education credits (CECs). Visit www.adc.com/rsvp to register online.
