ADC Telecommunications Inc. today announced its new LoopStarR 810 Customer-Located Equipment (CLE) SONET access system, the latest addition to its line of SONET access products.

LoopStar access systems enable service providers to deploy and manage TDM and Ethernet services to end-user customers from a single platform.

The LoopStar 810 is designed for CLE applications where service providers can deliver Ethernet business services as well as traditional DS1 and DS3 TDM-based services easily and economically.

The product’s compact design allows for easy installation when space is limited, while an integrated connector-interface offer multiple deployment options.

The LoopStar 810 also features centralized management control with the LoopStar 800 EMS, an Element Management System (EMS) for controlling and managing the LoopStar access systems.

An on-board, Web-Local Craft Terminal is also provided for smaller distributed applications and craft access.
