ADC Telecommunications Inc. today introduced products to support energy-efficient data centre designs as well as higher density solutions with integrated cable management at the 2008 BICSI Fall Conference at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nev.
“Today’s data centres need to be designed for energy efficiency and optimal performance without compromising reliability and manageability,” said M. H. Raza, vice president, Enterprise Business for ADC.
At the conference, ADC, Fluke Networks, Intel and Extreme Networks hosted a luncheon seminar entitled, “How to Deploy 10GBASE-T in the Data Centre.”
Data centres, both large and small, are moving to 10 Gigabit as the next step in meeting demand for increased network input/output performance, the companies said.
